Code of Conduct

We, the HXWize Annual Summit organizers, are dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all conference attendees, whether participating in person or virtually. We value your presence at the HXWize Annual Summit and expect all attendees to adhere to the following code of conduct at all conference venues and related social events.

Identifiable by distinct staff attire, our on-site conference staff is ready to assist participants, providing support such as contacting venue security, coordinating escorts, or any other help needed in situations inconsistent with this Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct

I am an attendee at the HXWize Annual Summit, engaging with and learning from fellow participants to enhance both myself and my industry. I actively contribute to creating a positive experience for everyone.

Coming to the HXWize Annual Summit means interacting with people. I acknowledge that inappropriate or derogatory language and imagery can offend and make others uncomfortable. Recognizing diverse boundaries and sensibilities, I accept without question when informed that something is offensive or unacceptable in the context of the HXWize Annual Summit.

I will never intentionally harass or offend another attendee based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, size, race, or religion, and will not tolerate the harassment or offense of fellow attendees. If I become aware that anyone feels uncomfortable or unsafe, I will promptly notify both the offending party and the HXWize Annual Summit organizers.

In the case of personal offense or harassment, I will inform people around me who make me feel safe and the event organizers. While at my discretion, I may choose to inform those giving offense of their actions, I understand that I am under no obligation to do so.

Recognizing individual differences, I strive to be forgiving of actions that may unintentionally hide sincere intent, but my priority is the safety of myself and others. I will act decisively until there is no question about the safety of all parties involved.

I trust that the HXWize Annual Summit organizers and attendees will collaborate to create the best possible experience for everyone. I believe in the empowerment fostered by the event and will not forget my role in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. If I or any other attendee violates this aspect of the event, I expect the conference organizers to take direct action, including expelling those in violation and contacting the appropriate authorities.

I acknowledge that my attendance at the HXWize Annual Summit, whether online or onsite, is intended to facilitate participation and learning.

I understand that harassment, derogatory comments, or any disruptive, threatening, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated at the HXWize Annual Summit. HXWize reserves the right to moderate the virtual event platform to ensure against unacceptable behavior.

I acknowledge that attendees not participating in sponsored HXWize Annual Summit activities are not permitted to solicit other attendees, whether on the virtual event platform or in any on-site space. This includes distributing marketing materials or engaging in similar activities.

I understand that HXWize will take all actions deemed reasonably necessary to ensure that all participants conduct themselves in a manner consistent with this Code of Conduct.
