If your employees are working on vacation, your company might be in trouble -- Of the 1,000 full-time workers who were surveyed: 56 % reported working on vacation (only answering emails or as involved as taking meetings and creating deliverables), and overwhelmingly they did so voluntarily; 43 % of those who worked even a little on vacation thought about quitting; Among those who stayed very connected to work, 52 % thought of quitting, and one-third of those people actually quit (most resigned 1-3 months after returning).
